If I could requite this recipe 10 stars I would, YUM!!! I made this for Easter in a pinch, considering the store was OUT of ham. I thought it was a disaster considering I take never fabricated brisket before. Information technology was a huge success and my husband who is a major ham fan stated that he didn't miss it at all!!! Anyway, followed the recipe exactly only doubled the ingredients because my brisket was over ix pounds. Besides, I slow cooked this at 225 all night long(covered of course). Was just and so easy and so delicious!!! Thanks! --- P.South - The leftovers(if you have whatever) brand dandy BBQ sandwiches too as taco filler, with the correct seasoning additions, oh my goodness this is and so versatile!!!**Edit** to say that the second time I made this I used the crockpot. I MUCH preferred the ho-hum and low oven cooked version that I utilized the first fourth dimension. I suggest the oven preparation for sure.

Really dainty for a "Few Ingredient" recipe. Very versatile. Added minced garlic to mixture. Spreaded enough sauce on bottom of pyrex to embrace the dish, placed brisket on tiptop and covered with remaining sauce. Covered with foil and baked all night at 200 degrees. Next time I might add a little brown sugar. Very tender and juicy. Volition put in my "Favorite Recipes" cookbook. Thanks!

Very succulent and easy to make. Had all the ingredients at abode. I made this one in the oven instead of a crock pot (since it was over 8lbs vs the 4lbs in the recipe) and tedious cooked it (covered) on 200 degrees all night long. Came out TENDER and juicy in the morning! Make sure to bake Fat SIDE UP. I besides added a bit of brown sugar. Note, this volition NOT be one of those brikets with a crunchy sugary coat, just very moist and tender like a roast. Makes for excellent sandwitches!

I had a smaller brisket (under 3 pounds) so I omitted the tomatoes but added a can of light-green chiles. It turned out really well--my whole family liked it. The side by side 24-hour interval I cut the leftover brisket into small-scale pieces and mixed it into the remaining sauce with a can of cutting tomatoes. So I cooked upwards some rice to serve it over. It was really good.

Love it. I only used a 2 lb brisket so had to take about 1 hour 15 min. off the cooking time. And I simply used the onion soup mix with a xiv oz can of tomatoes with onion and green pepper. Volition definitely make information technology once again.

This was probably the tastiest brisket (outside of smoked bbq) that I've always fabricated. I added fresh New Mexico Dark-green Republic of chile and dumped everything in the crock pot. Cooked on high for about 6 hours (the beef was fifty-fifty frozen) and it was merely wonderful. At that place were hardly enough leftovers for a sandwich!

This was awful! I used a 4.5 pound brisket as was called for in the recipe. It had the taste and texture of a leather shoe. I followed the recipe exactly every bit it was stated. My mom said that meat like this should be boiled first for about an hour and then slow cooked in the oven with the ingredients. It makes the meat much more tender, which is how we make ribs really tender. Peradventure it would gustation meliorate if it cooked longer, but I won't make this again.

A solid recipe for brisket! I didn't remember nosotros'd like the tomatoes and sauce, just information technology all combines woth beef juices to become ane great dish! When I take the brisket out and let it remainder before slicing, I pour the balance of the liquid into a bucket and add a piddling beef goop to make a serving sauce. I have 2 kids who love this!

This was a really practiced twist to the typical barbecued brisket we usually exercise. I exercise think cooking it lower and slower makes for a more tender brisket so I will try that next time.

Absolutely delicious and oh so piece of cake! The only thing I changed is that I used a iii-3/four pound boneless blade roast instead of the brisket. Nosotros really liked the the little bit of heat that came from the can of tomatoes and chiles (I used Rotel). This is a definite repeat! Thanks for posting this wonderful recipe. :)
